Product Description: ARKOC ARK 973 Series Surge Anticipating Valve, designed to protect the pipeline, absorbs the sinusoidal energy fluctions that occur as a result of sudden closing of valves or power off in pumping systems during the first filling of longer water network promotion lines and automatically evacuates the water hammer,which occurs as a result of momentum in the pumping systems especially during stop and start, to the atmosphere.
The valve deports the decreasing pressure wave from the pipeline thanks to the low-pressure pilot and the increasing pressure wave from the pipeline thanks to the high-pressure pilot. When the pressure fluctuations in the pipeline reach normal, the valve closes itself automatically and tightly.
