Product Description: ARKOC ARK 973 Series Pressure Sustaining and Pressure Reducing Valves are control valves that reduce the outlet pressure to the desired value by fixing the inlet pressure. There are two pilot mechanisms on the valve. The first pilot mechanism is the pressure sustaining mechanism and fixes the valve inlet pressure. The other pilot mechanism is the pressure reducing pilot mechanism and keeps the outlet pressure value constant by reducing it to the desired value.
Pressure sustaining and pressure reducing valves ensure that the system operates at normal values by regulating excessive flow and high pressure in pumping systems that pump from top to bottom or bottom to top. The valve constantly controls and keeps the inlet and outlet pressure value constant, regardless of fluctuating flow or changing fluid pressure. Some of the advantages it offers are as follows: Protection of lower pressure areas. Priority to high pressure areas. Preventing pipeline discharge. Controlled pipeline filling. Protecting the pump from overload and cavitation.
